2AM is designed to work locally on your iPhone. The app does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.
Information We Collect
2AM does not collect data. The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking technology, account system, or developer-operated server.
We do not receive your photographs, camera feed, depth data, settings, location, device identifiers, or usage information.
Camera and LiDAR
2AM uses the camera to show a viewfinder and take photographs. On supported devices, LiDAR depth data may be used on-device to estimate subject distance and choose a focus preset when Auto Framing is enabled.
Camera frames and LiDAR depth maps are processed locally. They are not uploaded, transmitted to the developer, or retained as depth data.
Photographs and Photo Library
Captured photographs are processed on-device and stored in the app's local roll. With your permission, 2AM also adds finished photographs to your Apple Photos library.
The app requests add-only Photos access and does not read or browse your existing photo library. Sharing a photograph uses Apple's Share Sheet and occurs only when you choose to share it.
Local Storage and Deletion
Settings and the app's local roll are stored only on your device. Deleting a photograph from the 2AM gallery removes the app-local copy. A copy previously added to Apple Photos remains there until you delete it through Photos.
Deleting the app removes its locally stored settings and roll, subject to standard iOS backup and restoration behavior.
Third-Party Services
2AM does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, authentication, cloud-storage, or tracking SDKs. The app uses Apple system frameworks for camera capture, LiDAR depth, image processing, local storage, Photos, and sharing.
Children's Privacy
2AM does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else because the app does not collect personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version and its effective date will always be published on this page.
